Altar Besoms

Ceremonial altar broom made from pruned mimosa branches that had to be removed due to growing into the road. Bark was removed and branch was allowed to air dry. Hand sanding smoothed out the roughness.Then wood was stained and coatings of polyurethane was applied. Broom corn was wrapped around the branch and secured with goldtone wire. Black cord was wrapped around the broom corn to prevent splaying. Celtic knot pendant was attached as an example but you can choose a different pendant if you wish. Stand is not included.
