Vintage Postcard, circa 1890's, of the Pavilion at Collett's Park.
Collett's Park is located on the north side of Terre Haute, IN between
7th St. on the West, 9th St. on the East, Maple Ave. on the South & Collett Ave. on the North.
The park was established in 1883 on a 21 acre parcel of land donated to the city of Terre Haute
by Josephus Collett, a railroad magnate and philanthropist.
The pavilion was built in 1894 by architect J. Merrill Sherman and is still in use today.
